The question is meaningless; the two cannot simultaneously exist in the same universe. The immovable object will by definition will resist all forces that might come against it to make it move. By the same token, the irresistable (unstoppable) force will be able to move any objects that it is applied against.

Assuming that either exists in the universe we inhabit, my money is on the irresistable force because all objects within this universe have a finite mass. In theory, hurling the tiniest stone at the largest star will move the star, albeit an infinitesimal and imperceptible amount.

1. If a force is unstoppable and the object is immovable they would cancel out each other and not exist.

But, if you take the wind (unstoppable force) and introduce it to an immovable object, the wind will just go around or over the object.
The object would not have been moved and the wind was not stopped.

Although theory may permit it, in practice there are probably no quantities that are infinite. The only force that is unstoppable is the one that drives an idiot. Come to think of it the same example can be used in order to describe an immovable object, i.e. the idiot's brain!

find out yourself. Put an object with wheels on a treadmill, then release a midget on PCP to attack that object.
