You know, I would like to know where you get this idea from? I have lived in Texas all of my life and I have never hired an illegal to do anything for me!!

Besides, you are sorely misinformed as these illegals know exactly what they are worth!! They work the system while getting paid pretty handsomely for the yard work and construction they seem to migrate too. Masonry work...they get top pay for this!

In as much, where the heck do you come off with your statement/question? Please look at the facts before you generalize this horrible situation!

We deal with this because of the federal government! Do you think we send them an illegal invitation to come here and do as they wish? Get real! Until you have to deal with this problem and compete for the jobs they are indeed taking, do a little research and educate yourself on the truth of the situation!!

We have one town at the moment who has slammed the door for ALL illegals! Yet, a judge stepped in and in spite of a citywide vote, said that it violated their rights! "Their" meaning the illegals !!! So, I personally take offense to your little question there!

I wouldn't mind living in some parts of Texas.

I'm not sure about the Mexican slaves... Seems a little racist.

I want to move away from Texas because of all of the severe weather we have. And no, I don't own any slaves. Arrested Development, we are not all redneck republicans and where I live in definitely not "Hickville". Quit being so judgemental!!!

Weeelllllll...I do live in Texas...moved away when I was 10, came back at 27, moved to OK at 30, back at 37...been here for 17 years since then. Guess I know a bit about Texas, by now. Lived in NB, HI, MO, VA, FL, OK...even Paris, France...still love it here in Texas. My business depends on good weather to work...Texas fits the bill! Friendly folks, good looking girls, got beaches, big city stuff for city slickers, boonies for the country folk...Willie Nelson for country junkies, Stevie Ray for the good stuff(no longer with us... RIP). And, not including myself, if one desires...low-cost labor available for those chores you desire not to indulge in!

Thank you for your question. We don't like stupid people in Texas. You've just reassured me that at least a few of you won't be coming here.
Are YOU a Christian, asking questions like that?

I wouldn't want to live with a bunch of redneck Republicans! I am a Democrat and I love where I am not in Hickville aka Texas.
