Sharon Newman was so whacked out at the time due to the near death of her second child, Disgrace felt it wouldn't be a good idea to tell Sharon she had found the kid abandoned so many years ago even though her original intention was completely the opposite. Soon, Disgrace found herself falling in love with the orphan and went so far as to attempt to flee the city. Fortunately, Sharon Newman had enlisted the help of Christine 'the Bug' Williams by this time. Dressed in high-heels, the Bug scurried through the Genoa City airport and managed to prevent Disgrace from boarding a plane with the orphan. Disgrace reluctantly agreed to give the kid up.
Things never got better for Disgrace. Viscardi dumped her for the younger, more confused Beggin Dennison but ended up living with Disgrace. A custody battle ensued when Alice Johnson decided she wanted Cassie back. Sharon Newman hired the services of detective Paul 'Clueless' Williams to locate Alice but in the end it was Nick Newman who found Johnson. Not that it mattered. While this was going on, Sharon found out about Disgrace and Nick having slept together in Boulder, Colorado. The revelation nearly destroyed Sharon's marriage. She never did find out about Nick and Disgrace sleeping together right under her nose. Not that it mattered because Sharon forgave Nick.

I hated the character of Grace but loved the actress who played her. She is actually on The Bold And The Beautiful now as Donna. She is awesome on the Bold.

YES! you know what, they need some more Grace on that show! Like Prince says....SCANDALOUS!...just the way I like my soaps. Grace, Diane, Phyllis...scandal! They really need to spice it up soon. I'm so sad that my 2 favorite shows, Y&R and 24 are completely boring lately...

she's on the bold and beautiful now. a few ago she was on the tyra banks show. in real life she helps out a cause against molested children/sex predators. can't remember the exact wording, but that cool and nice of her.

She was a tramp who gave trailer trash a bad name. I remember her well, and yeah - she was fun to hate. But then Nick wasn't exactly thinking with his brain in those days. In fact, he still doesn't, does he?
