how to make third-exp equation on 2^x = x^2?

if this eq have 3 answers that 2 , 4 and -0.766665

it mean much have power3 equation before get this ans.

so f'(x) = ln2 * 2^x - 2x

Now you can use the Newton method to solve that, starting with x = -1

xnew = x - f(x) / f'(x)
You will get -0.7667 in 3 iterations.
