See this link on cloudy water, what causes it, and how to prevent it: http://www.fishlore.com/CloudyWater.htm - also see the link to the page on the nitrogen cycle.

Most of the people who answered the previous question saying that your tank isn't cycled are probably correct. This will continue for up to two months (longer if you try to clean it too much), but will clear up on it's own.

From your previous questions, this tank is only about a week old, it that correct? This cloudiness is to be expected when your tank is new. When you clean the tank, do you use a gravel vacuum to siphon any fish poo and food out of the gravel? This all contributes to the ammonia in the tank that the bacteria are feeding on. Even if you don't overfeed the fish, the wastes can accumulate in the gravel since you don't have a hang-on filter, and this can build up and affect your fish. You've mentioned having an airstone, but it it just an airstone, or it this used with an undergravel filter? If there's an undergravel filter in the tank, there's organic debris accumulating under the filter plate.

When you clean, you don't want to clean your tank too well. If you do, you'll remove too much of the bcteria that break this down, and if you have more ammonia and nitrite than bacteria, they'll continue to reproduce. Only remove 25% of the water at a time, and vacuum 1/4 to 1/3 of the gravel, and switch which part of the tank you clean each time.

water chemistry problem. Try taking a water sample to a local pet store. Most will test for free. Chances are though you may have taken too much water out or disrupted the biological filter and it is just trying to catch up. If your fish are dieing that water immediately to get it tested otherwise most of the time with me it clears with in a few days.

Kosher salt does not clean the water. Salt added to the aquarium can help prevent nitrite poisoning.

(continuing other persons)
if ammonia is high cange your water more than once a week until an ammonia test says the ammonia is normal. ad 1tablespoon salt for each 5 gallons in the tank. the salt has to be kosher not sea salt. the kosher salt helps clean the water.

the ammonia is probably high
just check the levels and the easy way to correct them is with chemicals from the pet store

Sounds like you are putting too much food in.

Maybe your fish have diarrhea! Find better fish food, or a better filter system.
