It varies year to year. You just have to find something about a team that you can relate to or really like.
I'm a Cubs fan - alot of it has to do with players I watched growing up - Ryne Sandberg, Andre Dawson, and Mark Grace. Plus Wrigley Field is an absolutely beautiful place to watch a game.

Right now, The Boston Red Sox have the best record in all of Baseball but considering injuries, cold spells and better pitching from other teams it can change throughout the season. There's still a lot of baseball games to be played. It's really quite hard to say which team is the "Best", there are at least five or six very good teams right now. And you really can't say that the "Best" team is the one that wins The World Series because that's not always the case.

While I'm a die-hard Brewers fan and homer. The obvious choice is the Boston Red Sox. I hate the Yankees and I even hate the Red Sox, but Boston has the pitching depth, especially with Lester coming back from the DL. Oh yeah, they have even showed that they can hit...P.S. Manny hasn't even started hitting real well yet.

Someone has to mention the Mets.
The Yankees? You mean the team we just took 2 of 3 from? No way.

Of all time, unfortunately the Yankees. Up to this point in the season, the Red Sox. THeir pitching is just so superior to most other teams.

Some might say the Yankees because of all the Star power and Payroll....But it's what have you done for me lately. I am a Dodgerr diehard but for overall right now I would have to say Boston because of thier Pitching staff and consistency so far. And You know Boston will contend all year as some others (The Brewers) will falter late in the season.
