It sounds like you raised a great guy and well his fathers genes are in him as well just because your son has done more in his life and is devote his wife is no reason for other children to be getting divorced. You marry someone for who they are and how they make you feel. If every person looked at the marriages of the wealthy and the well-off and said oh I wish I had all that what kind of world would this be. I think you must look at your marriage you have a record marriage of 36yrs four great kids and a son that is the picture perfect husband.

Just be a proud parent and get over yourself you made the choices you made at the time and had you not you wouldn't be able to brag about this great son of yours. GROW-UP.

God Bless and Best Wishes.

Maybe you should not say you were robbed cause you, instead of your husband, whom I think u loved before marriage, and still love, were not aware of your expectations so neither did he. After observing your son's and his wife's intimacy you kind of feel that u deserved the same, little knowing that it's never too late to rejuvenate your relationship with your husband. There are no hidden secrets to a good relationship - just mere understanding, concern and most of all the little things.which contribute to love. "It's u who makes your life, life just is"

So what is your question? Your son seems to be making his wife happy and she is making him happy i think that's great. Are you just jealous or what? Be happy for him that he has someone to love and care for him. He could be like some guys that don't give a damn about anything.

She's jealous and focused on the wrong things in her son's life. Maybe if she looked at her marriage and what she might be able to do in it instead of constantly comparing it to her son she might be happier.

Hey Everybody, she wants to know if her son is wrong for thinking about leaving a $400,000.00 a year position for a $40,000.00 a year teaching job.
Mom, if it makes him happy, what the **** business is it of yours. He seems to be very balanced if everything you are claiming is true.
BTW, remind your daughters that this is their brother, he's off limits.

You and your family should share in your sons happiness. It is unfair to blame him for your own personal downfalls. Look at what makes his marriage work and try it in your own. You got problems
