Allow? Allow? Dogs love furniture, that's what they do. Who has the heart to kick a sleeping dog off the chair.

My dog is about 23-24 pounds and he hops onto whatever furniture he wants, but as soon as I look at him the right way, he knows to get down.

Well I don't actually allow my dog on the furniture but he does it anyways so I have pretty much given up on the idea of keeping him off of it. He's a big dog too but he thinks that he is tiny.

My dog gets on the furniture sometimes, but when people need a place to sit, he knows to get down on the floor. We also keep him very clean and well groomed, so he doesn't tear the furniture up or get it dirty or hairy.

Yes, I do allow her on the furniture. She doesn't sleep in our bed, but that's her choice.

I have an 8lb mini dachshund and I allow her on the couch, bed and she even rides on the dashboard of my truck when we go cruisin! The silly animal wraps around my head at night to stay warm. Weirdest thing you ever saw!
