The band Rush, especially the Tom Sawyer song because my dad listened to it almost obsessively. Plus a few Christian rock bands like PFR.

james taylor- my mom listened to him when she was young and there are lots of songs that remind me of my parents...
and the chieftains and van morrison- they did some christmas cd together and we always listened as a family...
