First off, my dog would thank me for giving her the best life she could ever imagine for the last 4 years. Then, she might ask me to give her something different for dinner, like may be a big 10 ounce steak - just once! And finally, she would tell me that she loves me and good night, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite!

You are a caring person and I know you love me. Who else would get up in the middle of the night and sit up with me because I'm sick. I like that you take me for a run and many walks throughout the day. Best of all, when I jump up on the bed, you never kick me off, and I don't mind keeping your feet warm. You always change the water in my drinking bowl throughout the day, so that its always cool and fresh. I am so glad that you picked me out of all the other dogs when you came to the local pound. You are so good to me, and I try to be a good . Do you realize that in all the years that we have been together, you have never hurt me or hit me? You never even yelled at me when I chewed up your slippers, I love to jump up on your lap and you rock me as if I was still a little puppy. Here are some extra licks for you, because I love you.Now, scratch my tummy!,

If Gwen and I were still caring for a friend's Great Dane-Rhodesian Ridgeback cross it would say "Hurry up . Where's my strawberry ice cream ?"
