Set this up as a ratio:
4/7=x/2100. now cross multiply & you get
7x=8400 Divide both sides by 7
x=1200

4/7 x 2100/1-->
cross-cancel 2100 and 7
4/1 x 2100/1 -->
4 x 300=
1200

divide 2100 by 7 and get 300 then multiply 4 by 300 and get 1200

Well, just take a deep breath. I know its not easy to handle but i promsise everything is going to be ok. In most schools, if students go to summer school and take a major test in each subject they failed, they wont repeat the grade. find out more info about that. Also although u may not want to hear this, i recommend getting a tutor this summer in the subjects u failed to meet requirements in. If you succeed in the subjects the first semester, you can request to move up aka moving into 8th grade. In most cases though, they will just take away your free periods and electives and replace them with courses failed the previous year without having to leave the student back a grade.
