Yes!!! I cried like a baby at the exact moment you're talking about. It was so touching, and really surprising! I just hope nathan and peter are ok...i knew nathan had it in him. I love that show so much, and it was a nice cry (and no its not that time of the month for me either :-] )

Peter was trying to concentrate on not blowing up NYC, which is why he didn't fly into the sky.

If he would have concentrated on flying then he would have exploded and killed millions.

I teared up a little, but not too much. I thought it was awesome when Nathan came up to his brother.

I think both of them are alive too.

Peter can regenerate. He's done it MANY times and I think he could do it again. They'll have Molly find him and then ensure nothing is lodged in his brain. Then he'll heal.

And Nathan is FAST... so he could have flew away immediately before brother blew up.

There IS a second season (Volume Two)... at the end of the show it says "To be continued..." which means Volume Two will be continued. :P

Actually Nathan surprised me by doing the right thing. After being so self concerned throughout the entire show, I really didn't think he would step up and save the city. he and his mother were just too self serving and looking for power that I was totally amazed when he came to fly Peter out of range of the Earth's atmosphere. Personally, I don't think that Peter has that much ability to regenerate. Yes, he can put himself back together after all sorts of falls and such, but a bomb is a bit much, think he's gone from the show. It's sad as he was one of the good guys, but, that's one of the things about Heros, not only the bad Heros die, the good ones do too, it's equal opportunity death. Didn't find it really sad, found it too exciting as so much was going on and I was trying to keep my eyes on the show to see what was going on and yet I seem to have missed some things that I've read from people's comments on here. It was a bit too confusing at the end, too much going on at once. But a good ending....To be continued, as I expected.

Firstly, Peter can't die since he met Claire.

Secondly, nothing says that Nathan died either though the odds are not good given the radioactivity eminating from Peter. But, it is possible in theory that Nathan moved so fast that he flew Peter up in the sky and dropped him before Per had time to explode and flew away. Let's face it you never saw the bodies.

And for those who argue that Sylar got away, as much as I like the idea, I would point out that if he had survived he would have blown himself up, not crawled in a man hole, or turned himself into a cockroach.

And I don't cry over things that are definitely fiction and a lot like a soap opera where if you don't see the body you can never be certain anyone died.

I didn't cry. Peter will be back, Silar's not dead and Nathan might still be alive. He could have let Peter go before he blew up, got enough distance to be safe and caught Peter as he fell to the ground. I guess we have to wait till fall. That's what's so sad to me.

i didn't cry but i thought it was very heroic of nathan to do that even though he new the bomb would go off. He saved millions by killing himself and Peter.
But Peter may still be able to regenerate

I did get a wee bit teary, but not at that part. I liked that Nathan finally stepped in and did something useful, although of course I hope that somehow he manages to survive as well. What made me cry was when that doll Molly begged "Mr. Parkman" to please not die, he is her hero. She is so cute and sweet anyway, and I don't want him to die either, that made me sad.

I didn't cry, but I can't wait until next season! I don't get why everyone keeps saying that Peter is dead though. He's not!!! He can regenerate! And I don't think he'd be one that they'd kill off anyways. He's too cool!

Naw, I didn't cry.
I'm not a big cryer but there are two things that almost always make me cry - "A Walk to Remember" and the last few chapters of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince".
