Why do you think adolf hitler killed himself?
Why didnt Saddam Hussein kill himself before he was captured?

Adolf Hitler certainly knew the magnitude of his crimes and had an idea what would follow if he was captured.
Saddam Hussein had less brainpower or less of an imagination but he certainly had the same spineless cowardice as Hitler.

I think he may have felt betrayed by the German people and by people in general. He may have begun as a young man contemplating suicide, and found something to believe in. He apparently devoted himself to the cause of the 3rd Reich with all the desperate enthusiasm that only a man under a death-sentence could muster.
'Mein Kampf' explained a lot about it.

Sara has it, I think. The only thing I could add is that the Russians were charging into Germany and I believe he was more afraid of their savage hatred for all the killings in his Russian campaign.-------Saddam, as Sara said, was delusional.

Hopefully he killed himself because he realized he did such a terrible thing, but I am positive that isn't the reason. The Allies found his hideout, so he killed himself before they got there.

Hitler killed himself because he was afraid of what the allies would do to him when they caught him.
Saddam was slightly delusional and honestly believed he wouldn't get caught and that he'd get his power back.
