What an emotional rollercoaster!!!!!!!!!___/\__/\___

Sure, i agree it was not as good as other 24 season finales, but at least on this one you get to see a more personal side to Jack...which is something the show only hinted at before.

Jack has always had a strong attachment to Audry and for the first time you could CLEARLY see it - FULL FORCE! Not just some, passing in the hallway kiss at CTU or some rushed phone call to say something hokey - a real personal side of Jack Bauer.

Yeah, you could argue that it was a lame way to end the season considering all the past cliffhangers the writer have offered in the last 5 years, but we were told up front, "this season you will see a side of Jack that has never been written into the show...."

I agreed!

Jack underwent an unbelievable experience while being held by Chang and the Chinese Government - OMG... it must have been tough for him...and yeah we all know Jack could on some levels handle it, especially because he is such a patriot.

However, for Jack to find out that Audry also experienced the exact same type of torture was just too much for him.

Hell...that would be too much for anyone.

It was awesome of the writers to show Jack is not a machine, but a real honest to goodness Human who apparently has found his limits when it come to serving his country.

"Love makes you see all sorts of lines in the sand that should never be crossed"

I CANT WAIT FOR NEXT SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I felt let down by the finale. The real finale happened weeks ago when Jack battled Fayed and recovered the remaining 3 nuclear weapons. Everything since then has been a disappointment to me.

Chloe's pregnancy was telegraphed to me the instant Morris first asked her if she was alright. I knew instantly what it was.

When Jack makes a promise, it's a blood oath that he will go to the end of the earth to obtain. So why is he leaving Audrey after promising her he will protect her and love her for the rest of his life, after only a few hours have gone by. Secretary Heller's arguments weren't that persuasive. After all, Jack just saved Josh, so everything he touches doesn't die.

Oh, and can anybody tell me why exactly Phillip killed Graham again? No explanation was ever given. What was the big secret that the killing was supposed to protect?

lmao I feel and have done the very same thing too. I think it has been a long and tiring series (I dont mean for me as a viewer, I mean for the characters in the show) and a lot has happened. I love the ending and it is by far the most satisfying ending I have ever seen in my life. It made my sigh in relief not only for the months I have been watching it and finally see that everything is okay. But a sigh for america as well and its characters. Bill and Karen will retire to their home and Im happy for them. They can go home and rest now. Pres Daniels makes the first and only good decision in the end. Tom misses Karen, Chloe is pregnant and back with Morris, America is finally relieved about Russia, and Jack can finally take care of his personal life. That part of the ending was beautiful as well and put tears in my eyes. The most touching scene of 24 to ever hit the screen. Its as if I felt Jack's pain myself. I was nodding my head sighing with tears in my eyes when the clock ticked to 6:00am

This became the 1st season that I watched "24". Now i'm hooked to this teach and prefer to computer screen it beginning from Season a million by way of to Season 4 this summer. i presumed that the season finale became extremely solid. The ending became surprising to me even with the undeniable fact that it truly opens up next season!

Hes not gonna kill himself obviously because if there is no Jack bauer there is no 24. period. The ending was a little too feel-good, everything ended happily ever after, (except for Jack and Audrey), but still that wasnt too big of a shock. There needed to be a shocking cliffhanger, but there wasnt. Still a good season simply casue its 24

Ugh i thought this was the worst season of 24 yet, and the worst finale i have ever watched. How can a show go from outstanding (last season) to boring. i thought the entire episode was predictable (omg! jack saves josh, and then returns to andrea...didn't see that coming) and I kept waiting for something jaw dropping to happen at the end, only to be disappointed with jack just staring at the water. BOO!

Jack should have jumped off the cliff and have them fade to black before he hits the water. Of course he would survive, but at least it would have us wondering for a little bit.

The ending was a little lame, but I was on the edge of my seat anyway. I was waiting for someone to shot Buchanan and Josh out of the air with a missle or show Philip Bauer mustering up enough strength to make it to the boat in time to get away before the oil rig exploded. Still an awesome show though.

It was pretty good, but certainly not better than season 5's ending. I hope season 7 answers the questions that were left hanging and I won't say more right now.

i was underwhelmed, the wrap up for this season's stuff was ok, i guessed chloe was pregnant right away, the VP letting Karen & Bill off just seemed out of character and cheesy, the whole thing with jack visiting audrey was stupid, i wish she would have woke up and told him to stay, i'm tired of jack as the man on the run, or the ghost, or whatever.
