For class we had to write some dumb fable, and I can't think of a title. It's about an alligator who tries to impress another gator by changing his appearance/personality, and then realizes that he should just be himself and yada yada. Any suggestions?

Ummm.....Im sick today, so my ideas might not be the greatest!!!
1. Alligators can be themselves too!
2. Just be yourself!
3. Gators have feelings too!
4. The little Gator that tried too hard!
You could just title it what the alligators name is also!
Like if the name is Gate (short for gator) you could call it
" Gate's Tale"
Just make it simple....the more you think about it the harder it seems!

Fables usually have very simplistic titles. Something like "The Lovelorn Alligator" or "A Tale of Gators" would work fine.
Alternatively, you could title it, "Crocodile Tears", which is a term for fake displays of emotion (which you have in your story).
