I have a T23 Thinkpad, Default setting, Default Hardware, 512-RAM. S Video Cord (no audio cables) is connected through laptop to Samsung HD TV, 2006 Model. I click "fn" && "F7", it continues to Display no signal. I tried lowering the video settings to 600X800, nothing still. I also switched the HDTV to 4:3 ratio, still nothing.

What Do I need, drivers? I can't change default monitor setting via the display menu, button is "grayed-out". Do I need the cable that S-Video on one end and analog cables on the other?

First of all, WHY??? Just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you should.

Now, You need to fit a keystroke comvbo to output to svhs, usually it is Fntcn F8, but different mfgrs have different combos. NEXT you need to set the TV input to input from SVIDEO instead of internal tuner. I'm asuming you have your media center all set up with your internal (PC) tuner card.

You should not have to download drivers, but you will probably have to "massage in settings, once it is up and running.
