Was it just me, or did it seem there was a small bug crawling on the sewer top at the end? Was Sylar's body now missing or just taken away already? Was the sewer open?

Why did Peter need his brother to fly? He already possessed his power. why sacrifice his brother, when if he was shot, he could simply regenerate later?

I like everybody's answers to this point but I think there was no way for Sylar to get to Candice given the security had the stairs occupied and Micah had the elevator occupied.

What you see if you pay attention to the seen where Hiro stabs Sylar is that the last vision Sylar has as Isaac is his own death then his eyes go dead. That to me says he is dead. the blood trail to the gutter is from the big sword stuck in his heart pumping out his blood towards the man hole the the madagascar hissing cockroach on it. I wondered just what exactly that cockroach symbolized, perhaps the thought that if a nuclear bomb had gone off the roaches would have been the only things to survive the blast. But remember for all the people guessing people missed what happened to Sylar. Molly was there to the end and she said nothing about him still being alive. Parkman was there and could have read his mind. Claire and Noah were there and I doubt they took their eyes off of him. Nikki, DL and Micah were there and I am pretty sure they would have noticed Sylar getting away. Sure it is possible but highly unlikely that they would create an evil worse than Sylar and then let Sylar live. The new villaine must be far worse. Besides, if Sylar were still alive he would have blown himself up.

And as for the Peter question, that is a mystery. The reason Claire did not shoot Peter is she was going to shoot him in the brain. Again with the Sylar thing. If he were still alive, he would have stopped the two of them from getting to Peter but he didn't. Claire knew where to Shoot Peter and stop him cold, no regeneration like when the glass got stuck in his head or the twig got stuck in her neck or whe Eden blew up her own brain. That is why she hesitated. As for why he gcould not fly it was probably because he could no longer focus his passion on anything but the bomb which was fueled by it. His passion is what fueled his empathic power as well. Claude was teaching him how to control it but he never finished the lessons. the whole bit with Devereaux seems to be pointing to the fact that Peter is the one that will lead them against the great evil. My thought is that their father is that evil. After all you never saw him die either and Linderman and Nathan's mom had nothing good to say about Nathan's father. Maybe his father is the one Molly is afraid of.

yes, there was a roach crawling on top of the sewer. I went back and checked it out. Thanks to TIVo, it was easy to do. Looked like Sylar ended up in the sewer under the manhole, and possibly the roach is now Sylar, anything is possible.
Don't think Peter had the capacity to fly while he was glowing, it must have taken all his strength. Meanwhile, Claire just wasn't shooting, so something had to be done, and for once Nathan thought about the world before he thought about himself and realized he had to do something to save the world, so he just grabbed his brother and took off. It's as if he was making up for all the bad things he had done in his life, which were many and he wanted to make things right and leave a positive legacy behind. He sacrificed both himself and Peter, but for once he did the right thing, not what Mom wanted him to do.

Yes, there was a bug. Yes, the sewer was open.

We're pretty sure now that he's not dead. I'm sure once he saw the comic, he took some step to prevent it.
I think Gabriel picked up a shape-shifting power somewhere. He *was* the cockroach crawling out of the sewer. (Also, that's a play on Mohinder's speech at the very beginning of the first episode).

As for Peter needing Nathan to fly, I think he was so overcome by Ted's power and trying to control himself, he couldn't tap into anything else.
And he wouldn't have been able to regenerate after Claire shot him because he and Claire talked about it. She was to shoot him in the section of the brain that seems the most vulnerable and permanent. The same place that Claire got that branch lodged in. The same place Gabriel hit him with the glass.

Yes there was infact a bug, which suggests that Sylar may possibly have the Ability to transform. Or maybe it was there for no reason. No the sewer wasn't opened. And at the end Peter had absolutely no control so he couldn't fly away. And they did that just to make it more Dramatic and Heart Wrenching

I don't know about the sylar part whether he lives or not.
I agree with the others about peter not being able to concentrate on flying and being able to control himself from exploding.

I have my own questions to add. First remember what that little girl said about the one person she couldn't think about and that he/it is worse than sylar. I think theres a possibility of us knowing more about this person in the next season...
And does peter survive the explosion. If he was able to survive it in an alternate future then why not this time?

Peter had to concentrate on not exploding. If he concentrated on flying he would have lost control with the nuclear power and exploded and killed millions.

I didn't notice the bug on the sewer cover. The sewer was open though.

Claire was going to KILL him, so he could not regenerate. She knew where to shoot she just didn't want to.

Your right that he had his brother's ability and I do believe that the sewer was open. The only thing I could think of for the not flying on his own was because I was concentrating so hard on not to explode that he couldn't attempt to fly the high that fast. Slyers death seamed a little too easy and fast though....maybe they just misinterpreted the painting.

I'm assuming that Peter is still alive. He can heal himself can't he or did him exploding mean that his body parts aren't going to be able to connect again? Were they able to make it to outer space? Would Peter's brother be able to not faint in that altitude? How could there be fire and explosive if there isn't air in space?

From the information that fatgirl put forward I have a question. When Canice was knocked out she reverberated back to her usual image. Does that mean that the image she was in was her original....I thought she was made fun of because she was fat.

There was a bug, and it did seem open.
Nikki knocked out Candice, so maybe Sylar killed her before he met Peter on the street. He would have the ability to alter reality. In the future episode, Sylar was Nathan, because he killed Candice.

His body WASNT taken away....those were obviously drag marks. he dragged himself into the sewer to escape and attempt to heal himself. How about it though, best ten minutes of the whole season. Sylar does not possess the abilty to transform. All of his powers to date we have seen him take from someone.

I had some of the same questions myself. Perhaps he can only use one power at a time. But why in the future is Peter's face all scarred up? If he can regenerate, why the scars?
