Being alone and accepting it, puting all thoughts of love out of your mind, or being open to the possibility of love and being hurt?

One problem with option #1, it has made me bitter.

this is not the end of the world. you've to move on leaving behind your past . take your time and look for a good partner.nothing is easy. you got to be bold. start a fresh life. you should not be bogged down by negative feelings. think positive. everything is going to be okay.

Hello,
All of them are pretty hard. They are all extremely hard. I don't think one can be considered easier than the others.

I have tried all three and it all ends up horribly and comes back to smack you in the face when you least expect or want it.

You need to open up and understand that you can get hurt but still welcome it. It's innocence that makes it lovely. But you can't be too trusting because God knows people will take advantage of it.

you need a balance for it to all work out.

i understand your bitterness. but that's the great thing about love. you can open up again and maybe the next one will be the right one...try to work through the bitterness...i know how you feel.

Option 2. I have learned that it really is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all. Without that love you will have never had the wonderful memories. And without the heartbreak you will have never learned how to cope with loss!
