the equation for the slope of a line is

y=mx+b

y is the answer
m is the slope
and b is where the y intercept intersects.

the slope is 12.
the y intercept is negative 50.

the y intercept will ALWAYS be added or subtracted, until you get into more complicated problems and then its just confusing.

and the slope will always be multiplied by x.

its quite easy once you've gone over it a lot.
