I am pretty sure I have Bacterial Vaginosis. I had it once when I was a teenager and I am experiencing the same symptoms. I am leaving for the Dominican Republic on Sat. with my husband and I don't think I will be able to get to the dr. in time to get meds. For one thing they are very busy and for another I am just running out of time to make the apt. What else can I do?? Do you think since I am pretty sure what it is and call the nurse they will just perscribe it for me?? Or should I just go to a new dr.?? I don't know what to do. I sure don't want to go on vacation like this!

you need to be seen go to the er and get checked. no one will prescribe any meds without seeing you. thats foolish. get seen before you leave or your vacation will be ruined and stop having sex until after you finish the meds for it you can and will pass it on to your husband

I called my doctor's office and said "I think I have a yeast infection" and they wrote a prescription for me, so I'll bet they'd write one for you without an appointment.
