it doesn't HAVE to have a special graphics card. typically, laptops have the graphics processor integrated into the motherboard, and this is ok for most applications. if you're into video editing or gaming, you should get a laptop that has a specialized graphics processor, look for it to say Nvidia or ATI in the specs.

They use mobile graphics cards. Yes, they are different than the desktop graphic cards.

No, many have integrated video, but if you' into gaming video or CAD, you need a descrite vid card
