im trying to connect with my wireless network
but it says "limited or no connectivity"
i have no idea why
i runned the virus already and it still doesnt
connect does anyone knows what's wrong with it???

this is due to ur anti virus. it is stoppin it turn it off and then restart and then connect and see

This is because you laptop did not pick up an IP from the router. In many cases the router just needs to be rebooted, just unplug it for one minute, plug it back in and wait for all the lights to settle. Then restart your laptop and see if you get an IP. If so your fixed.

Since the router is the server which assigns the IP it has to send one or you get this message.

Your machine could also have an IP problem but if it was working it probably still is working correctly.

I had the same problem but instead of fixing this problem i went crazy on the laptop! Don't do this! i never did solve the connection problem but you can either go to microsoft.com and type in "limited or no connectivity" in the search box and click on the first few search results, or you can pay a lot of money for a geek squad agent to do the whole job!

Use the wireless card utility to search for your router, set the encryption and connect.
