Sometimes, my computer shut down automatically and some of the times it automatically starts after a second after it. But sometimes, I can't see anything on my monitor after it shuts down automatically. Of course, the UPS is running and the light in the mouse is on, but there is no signal on the monitor.
I have to plug off the computer and when I start it after 15 minutes, it starts working?
What is the problem?

Heat. Your computer is too hot, check your fans, processor fan and especially the power supply fan. when your computer gets hot it automatically shuts down on its own to prevent it from overheating and exploding. after cooling it down for 15mins its okay again, bcoz it has already cooled down.
If all fans are okay, try to add more fans, or opening a side panel on your tower and place an electric fan beside it to cool the motherboard.

Most of that problem occur when the memory of your computer has problem, try to delete some files or program in your computer that you dint use often, check also for the connections of your monitor to your CPU and try checking for the power source at your house maybe there is lack in power that's why it needs your monitor a time to fully function... If this problems still occurs after you try these methods to solve your problem, its better if you visit your nearest computer shop to ask some help for the repair...
thank you!

I just had a tech in and look at one of my computers today because it was doing basically the same thing. He ran all his tests and said that the computer was fine but that Windows was corrupt and needed wiped and reinstalled (reformatted). In fact he recommended reformatting yearly to keep Windows clean and running properly. The easiest way to do this is to reboot and then hit the F10 at the Windows blue boot screen (it'll have this option listed across the bottom of the screen).Good luck and if you have anything important on your computer make a back up before starting the reformat.

So, your computer isn't shutting down, the monitor is. Time to replace the monitor. See if you can borrow a monitor and hook that up for awhile. If THAT shuts down, replace the video card. But it's probably the monitor.

It could be a virus. Run your anti-virus program and see what it says. It also could be your CPU is overheating. Maybe one of your fans has quit working. You may need to use some of that canned air and blow out the inside of your CPU to clean it. My first bet would be a virus, but it could be your CPU is dirty or running hot.

The fan on your cpu is not working.
Open up your pc and check if the fan on the cpu is working. If that's the case, replace it with a new fan.

Try to change your power supply. But if you don't see anything change the video card.
