If I usually put in regular unleaded in my car, is it BAD if I put premium into sometimes? *Don't ask why.....long story* But my friend said it is horrible for your car. Everyone else I have talked to said it was fine, that if anything, it is better.

No, it is not BAD. Wont hurt anything but the benefits are it will clean the engine and also make your car run a little better.

the extra octane additives just burn away like regular gas. It may help to clean the engine (just a little bit) but it's not worth 20 cents more per gallon.

Not horrible for your car...just a waste of money. Unless your engine is designed for premium, you are just wasting money

if you car engines, it is good, if no knock noise use premium every 5th tank to keep engine internals clean
