well since I'm a guy and I never had the "pleasure" of looking at a woman's underwear that has been defiled by a period,
I'd go with the misunderstood fart...they just slip out a little...then ya just have to walk with a butt Itch and a weird looking walk that makes you look like a crab until you get a shower.
...oh yeah!!!
this is gross...and the person with the misunderstood fart needs to stop eating so much fiber...ya just can't let it loose like that!!

But not if taken care of properly:
If stain occurs, soak in COLD water ASAP (for an hour, maybe), then wash regularly (use stain removal gel/spray as extra measure..)

What do you mean ruin?
A little crust is no reason to throw away a pair of undies!
It helps you to put them on the right way in the dark!
Just like a pie, the crust goes on the bottom!
