My sister in law has 13 year old triplets, and when they were little like 1 year old, we used to pour cheerios on the floor, and they would eat them. If we put them in a bowl they would end up all over the floor anyway, so we just elimated the bowl and went straight to the floor. They were so cute sitting in the floor eating their cheerios and watching Barney!!! (She did however keep the floor pretty clean. I think she vaccumed several times daily.)

Heck I still eat stuff off the floor anyway. My mom does keep the floor that clean. :)

It doesn't matter if the floor is clean or not.....it depends on what was dropped.
a potato chip....nahhhh throw it away, it's been on the floor.
A bacon wrapped scallop.........5 second rule takes over!
