We have alot of those out West-- so I've had to decide that a few times...

I was awoken pretty early one morning by a fire in apartment directly over mine ... I grabbed acoustic guitar and went acrosss the street till the fire dept put it out.

not 'xactly a 'wildfire' but I *did* make a "take one thing" decision in a span of seconds

kinda neat in retrospect

cat was outside I think

When I lived in San Diego, i had our photo albums in a tote bag that I could grab as I ran out the door with my cats and dog and family.

Family pictures and anything sentimental. The insurance company can replace the rest.

My family, Pets, Photos..The rest is not of value and can all be replaced..thats what insurance is for.

Clothes, all credit cards and checkbooks and my dog.(the family is a given so that is why I didn't list them)
