I was awoken pretty early one morning by a fire in apartment directly over mine ... I grabbed acoustic guitar and went acrosss the street till the fire dept put it out.
not 'xactly a 'wildfire' but I *did* make a "take one thing" decision in a span of seconds
kinda neat in retrospect

When I lived in San Diego, i had our photo albums in a tote bag that I could grab as I ran out the door with my cats and dog and family.

My family, Pets, Photos..The rest is not of value and can all be replaced..thats what insurance is for.
