I think that a nice updo would be nice with a few pieces hanging down, maybe around the neck and the sides of the face. I think the accessories depend on what type of dress your wearing. If your dress has alot of designs or other applications, you might wanna go light on the jewelry and simple on the shoes.

Makeup is the best part. I suggest going to a designer makeup counter and getting an application done. I would take the dress with you so the makeup artist can see what she is working with. I would go maybe a week early so you have an idea of what your getting in done. If you like, you can always schedule for the real deal. Most are free, some require you buy atleast one product or small fee. I suggest going to MAC Cosmetics. They are the best. Make sure you ask for someone who has done makeup for weddings!!

One more thought!!

This may sound silly but ladies from Wedding Crashers had some pretty hairstyles. I think the two sisters, had long and medium length hair so you can work between the two...

You could also look at some pictures online or in wedding magazines to get some clues..

Goodluck..

Just dont outdo the bride;)

I agree with Robby. Talk to the others, either all wear sandals or all wear pumps; decide on the same color [ shoes don't need to match perfectly, but should be similar ].
Then decide to all wear similar jewelry - most people have gold, silver, or pearl posts, etc.
You should all wear jewelry in a color that flatters you and the dress color. If you all look good in gray eyeshadow and berry lip color, go for it! None of you should wear a lot more or a lot less than the others; again, you should be similar but not identical.

i would talk to the other people in the wedding and see if you all can't coordinate shoes nad jewelry so you at least look similar....it will pull you all together.
