Truthfully, yes, sometimes I will based on avatar or name. If it seems like a young person, I will be more gentle. If it's someone I know, I feel secure in joking around. If the name or avatar just seems to beg for a smart alek answer, I can oblige.

Neither, I go by the question, if I feel that I can give an honest answer I give it my best, sometimes I just read some of the answers, and if I feel that they are good, I'll give them a thumbs up, and not answer the question myself.
