where is the fuel pump on a small engine?

this is an engine on an old Snapper LT-12 Riding Mower.

2 Cyl briggs, 12 hp.

this engine wont run unless it has full choke.. and when we look in the gas tank while its running.. bubbles are coming to the surface from the line out..

no fuel pump.....it is all done with vacuum

if the gas tank sets above the engine on this one it don't have a fuel pump on it,very few mowers needed fuel pumps,90% of them are gravity flow carburetors,good luck with it.

It's mounted on the engine cover with three lines going to it.

1) to the tank
1) to the breather box.
1) to the carburetor.

It's vacuum pulse operated from the crankcase breather.

the fuel pump is probably a rubber diaphram in the carby,it may have hole in it
