As long as you have all those easy forms of entertainment at your fingertips you will continue to struggle. If you truly want to change the course you are on, talk to your family. Tell them that you know you have problems and that you are slipping, but that you want to change. Ask them to help by getting rid of the TV and the Xbox. have your parents take your computer and limit your access to it to only three hours a day which you must use for school work. Find friends that like to study and study with them. Clean your room and keep it clean, trust me on this one. Don't let yourself make excuses, if you do then fight back. If you start thinking, "This is nerdy" just tell yourself, "Better to be a bit nerdy than live the life of a loser who couldn't control his life". If you start thinking, "All I want is a little entertainment" just tell yourself "there is always time for entertainment, but I only have NOW to get my education". Trust me, it is better to kick yourself off your butt now, than to wait till you are 40 and still mooching off your parents 'cause you never learned how to take care of yourself. The TV. Xbox, music groups, Internet, they don't care what happens to you. In fact all those industries love making kids into stupid, addicted, groupies. You can do this, just give up the easy crap and stand up for yourself before it is too late.

Judging from your comments, you really need help with spelling. You're not going to get anywhere if you keep hating what you're doing. Maybe you can study with a friend, or exchange tutoring for work, like fixing someone's bike or mowing a lawn. Summer school isn't going to help you because you already dislike going to school.
You already know that you have a problem, so it's halfway solved. Now, go ahead and work with a friend or a group of friends and then reward yourself with an hour of TV or video games.

It all came from you...TV, games and all those stuff. You have to forget them or you can only do that on times when you don't have classes. You have to study for your future. Seek help from people who you trust but you have to follow them. You already knew that you are lazy, that's a good start. Now work on that. Instead of TV, read books. Instead of computer games, do some research. DO this for yourself.

First of all, you're only lazy if you allow yourself to be. Don't make excuses. Shut off the tube, the music and the games (they'll only distract you). I like to study boring subjects out loud. It's strange at first, but hearing the material really helps it stick in my head.

Thinking of your future might help. If you don't begin studying, doing homework and making better grades your chance of having a good future is slim. You can do it; be positive. You can do things and have a good time and make better grades all at the same time. Good luck.
