I think that Troy Smith can definitely make the team. The guy was the best quarterback in college football for all but one game last year. He's too good of an athlete and was too well coached to fail. If he doesn't make it with the Ravens he will catch on somewhere else. As for Chris Leak I was underwhelmed by his skills but he is a winner and winner's tend to win.

I think that they both will be 3rd or 2nd string. The McNabb rumors put a kink in things, though. Although they're both short, that doesn't necessarily mean they'll stink (just as tall QBs aren't necessarily the second coming).

If the good Leak shows up, he'll be 2nd. He's very talented.

HOWEVER, as much of a Gator fan as I am, I don't see Leak starting, and the Gators already proved that Troy Smith CANNOT handle an NFL-speed defense. That, and Earl Everett will just keep sacking his sorry behind.

Leak will make it good with the Bears. Troy Smith souldn't even be in the NFL at least in my mind. Leak is by far the better QB of the two. Did you watch that title game last year? Troy Smith had a QB rating of 9.8 in that game. He completed 4 of 14 and threw an interception. The competition is only getting better in the NFL. Leak had a 93.9 QB rating in that game and went 25 of 36 and a TD in the championship game.

Leak has a chance as QB, Smith looks like a better prospect at wide receiver in the pro game. Both fine athletes in college, the pro game is different in many ways and both these men are undersized.

If the rumor about McNabb going to the Bears is true than Leak won't make it. Smith will most defiently make it McNair sadly is gone in a few years, and Boller can't play for his life. Troy Smith will either be a backup or starter when McNair retires.

Leak and Smith are both decent quarterbacks with good athleticism on teams that are not deep at the QB position. Yes, I think they can make the roster.

They'll probably both make the roster as rookies.

As to their futures, the Bears never, ever have good quarterbacks, so either Leak will get traded or he'll be awful.

Troy Smith looks like a baller to me, and I think he'll be Baltimore's starter in a few years.

I don't think so. Unfortunately, both Chris Leak and Troy Smith are short for quarterbacks. They will never be starters, but they will be back-ups.

We stick by our Florida QBs in Chicago.

I don't think Troy Smith is an exciting pro prospect at this point. I need to see him on this level at full speed.

Troy Smith probably will because he was drafted but a doubt Leak, an undrafted free agent will.
