Okay so I have a Windows XP with 512mb of ram, 1.80Ghz, and 1.1GB left on my computer.

I would really like to upgrade my GHz to at least 2.3-2.7Ghz's.
Is that possible?
Im also not sure how to upgrade it either...... or how much it costs....
Which video card is best for my computer so it can upgrade?
I seriously need help here, I don't know what to do or what to get....

Help me please, thanks!

To upgrade this much you need a new motherboard as well as cpu, this will probably mean buying new ram. You also need a bigger disk if you only have 1.1 G left. You would need a higher rated power supply. This will cost more than a new machine.

You are in need of a complete upgrade. If your computer is an OEM (ie you got it from HP or Dell or Gateway or someplace like that) then you can't even use the XP cd that came with it, you'll have to get a new one. It's very unlikely a newer cpu will work on your motherboard, as your 1.8 ghz P4 only runs at 400mhz front side bus. Pretty much all the faster cpu's run at 533, 800, or even 1066 mhz front side bus, which your board will likely NOT support. So you'll need a new cpu, a new motherboard, new ram, and if you game at all, a new video card, and deffinitely a new XP cd. Best bet is to find somebody local to you that's into computers and have them walk you through what you need.

to upgrade your GHz, you need a new processor.
this is usually achieved by purchasing a new computer.

as for a new video card, it depends on your computer and what type of video card will fit. most computers have both what are called AGP and PCI slots (judging by your system specifications, that computer is too old to have anything newer). ask at a retailer which is the best video card that they sell that will work with AGP. you can either install it yourself and have an experience or stick with a reliable thing and pay to have it installed (ask the retailer).

First off.
You will need to give more info. If the motherboard will support the upgrade it is fairly easy. but without the specs it is almost impossible to give you an educated answer.
Is your computer a custom built or Dll, Gateway, compaq, or HP...ect. most store bought PC's are limited to upgrades.

Ok, I would love to answer this for you, but what are you asking? Are you asking about how to make your hard drive bigger, or how to upgrade your possessor? And what about a video card..clear this out please.
