I guess.
Then I open the door,
with a combat stance, and a ready fist,
and a list of back up items in my mind.

Mostly, but I make a point of it for elderly, handicapped and mothers loaded with children.
Sorry I read the question too dang fast - I read do you open the door for strangers.
To actually answer - not really. I live in a locked secured apartment building - they have to intercom me to open the door.

Not in this day, I don't even open the door all the way for maintenance men or the UPS guy. There's stories of rapists getting those uniforms and raping women that way, so I crack the door open with the chain locked...It's a scary world out there for women.

yeah i do, haha cause the door, is just to get in the house, i never open the gate to the parking lot and then the house, though there's a mic and cam so i don't really need to open a door. lol

No way. My mom always told my and my siblings never to open the door unless you know who it is. All kinds of rapist and murders, serial killers these days. Girl, you never know who you lettin in your house. Some of the nicest people can be the dangerous you ever meet.

I only answer through my safty screen, they can't see me but I can see them. This gives me more security if I don't like what they are selling or don't know them then I won't open the safty screen at all. I only open for people I know.
