I don't know that "Christian" married people think that it is OK to cheat. Some people are hypocrites and will claim to be anything that is convenient, but it is always more difficult to do what is right and proper all of the time. Let there be no mistake, even the devout can be tempted by sin (satan?).

One last thought. Do you know ALL of the Christian people in the world? Just because some people that live on Cedar street steal bicycles does not mean that every person that lives on Cedar street steals bicycles.

Why just say christian married people? There are a lot of people in society who feel it is ok to cheat. In my book however, there is NEVER a reason to cheat. When you stood before witnesses and God and committed yourself to your spouse, it was a serious thing, and should have not been taken lightly. Too many people window shop, and then have to have what they see when what they have at home is just as good, and in most cases better than what they saw in the window. I don't know why spouses claim to love the other, a nd then decide to carry on with another while still in a committed relationship.

I think you are confusing yourself when you make such a blatant generalization. No Christian I know of would ever feel cheating is ok. It's breaking God's laws. However I've known some who believe in God and have later strayed. It's easy enough with all the temptations and stress there is in today's world to take an easy out. Christian or not everyone is vulnerable but for a Christian it's turning their back on their beliefs as well. Thus they have set aside their relationship with God.

decrease back in Jesus' time Jesus became in fact getting onto the Pharisees for bobbing up all varieties of loopholes so extra human beings could desire to get divorced. Like a guy could desire to divorce his spouse for burning dinner and stupid issues like that. in case you besides may be conscious the Bible is extra approximately rapidly marriages and not gay marriages. It additionally does point out divorce for being abused through fact little interest became paid to that undertaking decrease back in Jesus' time additionally. It does say this is ok to divorce a non-Christian if between the better half's will become a Christian, however the different better half is honestly adamant against it (a million Cor. 7:12-sixteen). All in all, i've got confidence God would not like divorce in any respect, yet there are some cases the place this is only fit for the two spouses. It truly relies upon on what the couple is getting divorced over first of all. The 4 suited reasons that I bear in mind from premarital classification for divorce (no longer so as) are funds, parenting alterations, in-regulations, and intercourse themes. returned, whilst it comprises divorce i've got confidence God needs His babies to have healthful relationships, yet each and every from time to time that only isn't feasible through fact one better half refuses to alter and end being violent or end playing or although is this is inflicting the kinfolk to truly crumble. seek for counseling first to discover the subject extra to be sure if it truly is an argument which will nicely be dealt with and solved over the years or if this is only no longer secure to be around the different guy or woman. desire this helps!

What makes you think Christian married people feel it's OK to cheat? Maybe you have heard about this or have seen it, but it is NOT the rule.

People who believe in God, in right and wrong and who practice a religion do not think cheating is OK.

well to answer that question for you simply the one who is cheating is not putting god first in there life because when you put god first in your marriage you have great love and trust in the one who you have married and you may lust over someone else other than your spouse but when gods involved in it you wont be overcomed with lust and adultry cause hes guiding you to do what is honering to your spouse so basically if u are cheating or thinking about cheating then you need to stop and think and reavaluate your relationship with god and see what calamities it is in the way of bringing you closer to god. good luck

Unfortunately some Christians don't take their faith as seriously as others. Many don't even realize that they should have a relationship with God, rather than just doing "religious stuff". They've learned the theory but are short on application. Please don't judge the whole by the actions of a few.

That said, Christians are people too, who fall prey to temptation and often need forgiveness just like the rest of the world.

As a Christian, I don't think it's fair to target Christians as thinking cheating is ok. I for one think cheating is horrible- the Bible teaches us that adultery is a sin. And I also don't think that anyone, Christian or not, thinks cheating is "okay". It's like anything else- people who are doing something wrong look for a way to justify their actions.

Christians are people. Some people have good value systems that they follow and some don't. Don't ever think that Christian means perfect. Hopefully the person that you are speaking of is striving for perfection. The good work that He has begun in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ. (paraphrased) I pray that your friend will come to understand that doing unto others as you would have them do unto you really is the golden rule. Karma is something else.

Peace and Blessings
