A constellation is plotted on a corrdinate plane. the coordinates of the first star (3, 1) . the next star is 4 units left from the first star. what are the coordinates of the second star?

it would be (-1,1) ...... this is because 4 units left would be talking about the x axis...... 3-4 is negative 1

THIS IS VERY VERY BASIC SO LISTEN UP
Coodinates are always in the order (xpoint, ypoint).
The X-AXIS RUNS FROM LEFT TO RIGHT
The Y-AXIS RUNS FROM DOWN TO UP
So if a star is at (3,1), and the next star is 4 units left, we are dealing with the X-AXIS. This star is at (-1, 1). If you don't understand that, try it with a piece of graph paper.
