LOL...possibly for use as a douche. Some women are advised by doctors to spray baking soda or vinegar mixed with water into the vagina in order to kill germs or yeast. I've heard of this being recommended by infertility specialists, too.
I'm hoping that your roomate is a girl, obviously, otherwise.....LOL

I've heard about that before. Some women like to use turkey basters on their clitoris because they say it feels like it's being sucked on. DO NOT TOUCH IT.

Probably a VAginal Douche if its a chick and a Butt cleanser if its a guy.... Put a Domestic violence order on it and stay about 100 ft away form it...

I can think of two reasons although there are probably more. Used as a douche or for recto-colon cleansing. Neither very appetizing.
