Ever wonder about the CONNECTION? Oil says "we got to explore for more drilling sites" Enviro's say "no, no your destoying our planet". Oil says "we need more refineries". Enviro's say "no, no your polluting our planet". Quite a bonanza these two "little" outfits got going would'nt you say, at least for the elitist that run them? Can't drill, can't build new refineries, so gotta raise prices! It's become so transparent, oil says "we need" enviro says "your killing us", & with PERFECT timing, right on cue, EVERYTIME!!! Global warming is "their" masterpiece to wealth. Keeps oil revenues high per production & the so called "greenies" rich thru seduction! Keeps the republocrat politicians(magicians!) with newer style people control issues like increased taxes & restrictive legislation. How gullible can the American public get? Pretty gullible if you ask me! Whats your take on all this???

The hole in your argument is that their are alternative energies, ones that environmentalists have been proposing for years.
So no , they definitely are not in bed with each other.

There is a degree of manipulation and self service involved in both sides. However if I had to choose, I think oil plays a much worse role in our lives than environmentalism. Not even because of the pollution, but because of the politics it involves. Wars are fought over oil and businessmen have no place in politics. Humans have been fighting over resources since they lived in caves. If you remove the dependency, i.e. solar power, hydrogen power, etc. politics become simpler. I mean does anyone actually know why we're in Iraq? Cause I'm really not sure, and this administration doesnt seem willing to tell us.

Search Youtube for a documentary called "Why We Fight". Eisenhower warned us years ago about the military industrial complex and we've seen nothing short of its complete manifestation.

Consider that environmentalists also stopped nuclear power - a practical alternative to fossil fuels - and push impractical alternatives, like solar, that never deliver.

But, no, it's not collusion, it's just two very different agendas that match up at points.

It is a little ironic, though.
