Hi,
Yes you can mobe CD or DVD. Before I tell you how, there is a something you should know. If you bought the computer from places dell, Hp etc... They are OEM hardware which means Original Equipment Manaufauer. This means the hardware (Dvd or CD) came with the computer. Generally speaking your suspose to leave OEM hardware were got it from. If You bought it from the store then yes you can move it. You nned to uplug the PC open the sides the the case. There are four screws take them out,. disconnect the connection to the mother board and it will come out. you iopen the caes in 2nd PC and do the opposite..connect to the mother board screw the screws in. Put the cover back on. Power up the pc. You will need to make sure that you have drivers for the DVD or CD plpayer. You may want to check out the webiste that made it first to make sure it will work on the othetr computer. Check there first

Yes. Open the computer up and remove some screws. BUT before you do this make sure you have the right "drivers." They're little pieces of software that tell the computer how to work the CD drive, or whatever you want to add. It's near impossible on macs (actually, impossible on the newest ones). I don't know where to find the guides. Check your PC or CD drive documentation. I'm sure they'll provide some help.

Basically size. Notebook came from the size of a sheet of notebook paper. They are a smaller size, but have the same capability as a laptop and weigh less. This is just information following, Dell makes some that can be used with a Docking Station, this allows it to become a temporary desktop computer. In the Docking station, you use an external monitor, keyboard and mouse. Also while in the Docking station it runs off of the power adapter and not the battery. It's kind of like having two computers in one.

Yes, I've been doing it on my 5 desktops. Just make sure you observe the correct jumper setting. Also insure you have the DVD playing software on the computer where you will transfer the drive.

Yes you can swap out drives without screwing anything up.
You need to make sure the jumper is set to the correct setting (master/slave/cable select)
and verify the 40 pin connector or SATA connector is the correct one
and the analog audio cable if you require it. and the 4 pin molex (power) are all in the correct places...then you should be in business.

its possible... its very simple to do, just open your cpu then remove the wire of the drive then unscrew the drive from both side and push the drive outside the cpu... to install it in the new cpu, just do the reverse procedure... thats it...
