I've been known to ask if they are alright through laughter but that's usually just friends. If a stranger trips I always ask and don't find it funny. Once a stranger yelled at me because she thought I bumped her on purpose at a bar and after she finished her rant she walked away and slid on her ***. Now THAT was funny.

It depends on the situation and on how the person is acting after that. If he end up laughing I may laugh ..if he or she looks like terribly hurt I'll give them a hand and ask if they are ok.

I never laugh @ people falling. I try to see if they're alright. Someone injuring him/herself isn't funny at all.

I laugh WHILE asking if they're ok. True Story: My friends were playing Wii tennis and one was behind the other and swung and BASHED the other one in the head...and everyone is gaping, wondering if she's OK and I start to giggle uncontrollably...I'm such a terrible person!

On Tv, absolutley. in person, i ask if they are alright. if they just trip and dont fall, and then look around and start walking fast as if they meant to do it, i laugh my *** off.

My first impulse would be to find out if they got hurt. I would only laugh if that person started laughing.

I would think they would be embarassed enough and I'd try to ignore the situation, unless they really couldn't get up and then I would help them up. I would "never" laugh because I was brought up with respect and good manner.

immediately as they fall down i kinda laugh for a moment because almost always its completely random and the person fell on their own and is not seriously hur, then i make sure they are all right and if so you can joke about it later and use it as a conversation piece
