"!" nice name by the way...you seem to be the member of the DOLT group that we had to appease after 9-11. You're responsible for allowing George Bush to get his ulterior motive done because you're not smart enough to understand that Saddam had nothing to do with 9-11. But to people like you, all Arabs are the same. Your lack of understanding had given George Bush his out. But even when you don't want to look at it...you can't hide from the truth. Bush Lied and People Died and Bush's Friends Got Rich and US Taxpayers got the Bill. Nice Foriegn Policy.

I don't know ...

and I believe Mr bush and his cohorts do not and did not want you to ever know also !!!

did he not FIRE one of his / americas own GENERALS (?) who had the HONESTY , BRAVERY AND COURAGE to tell the american people that the war, would not only cost MUCH MORE than the estimates that rumsfeld/ the pentagon and georgie and cheney were force feeding them, ... but that it would also require a much greater compliment of manpower to do the job properly ??????...ALSO .. is it not strange and worrying that many other american generals and army and air force and navy and marine people did not have the courage and bravery to also STAND UP and voice their concerns too .. if in fact they did even have any at all ?? .. and what of the part the media played in this too... are they not complicit in this war of errors and bumbling and incompetency ???...with their silence .. and shoddy reporting .. and questionable courage to ask the hard questions ... what is that saying?? .. about good men remaining silent ... and the other one ??.. something about silent germans ...... oh and don't forget the ....
....
... LIES ......

of all things ... this republican administration will be forever remembered for all the LIES ......

.forget valerie plame and cunningham and delay and thurmond and lott and abramhoff and gonzales and rumsfeld and guanatnamo and abu " grave" and torture and walter reid and illegal wiretapping and other freedoms guaranteed by the CONSTITUTION and and and ......

IT'S THE LLLIIIIIEEEEEESS

what of all the iraqis civilians and children killed and tortured .. and the american troops .. and do not forget the injured and disabled troops and iraqis civilians ... and remember too all their FAMILIES .

I believe that he was not the only honest and good and true american that this administration has fired or forced to resign or outrightly removed for making statements ( correct as they may have been !! ) .. that did not reflect the republican party line spin ...

how sad ...

Think what could have really been accomplished with all that money .......could we not have been able to accomplish similar goals .. such as the removal of the evil sadaam hussein .. and prod iraq toward democracy .. and brought a better and more rewarding future to the people of iraq and maybe even the middle east ....and been a shining example to the whole WORLD ..

we could have

SHOCKED AND AWED ....the whole world ...

instead ... we shocked and awed them with our incompetency , lies and cover ups .. and continuing idiocy ... why idiocy ??? .. because we seem to have no way of solving the mess we got into .....

of course how can one expect the people who steered us into this mess to be able to do anything but continue and increase the catastrophe that they have created ...

they seem to have only one way of thinking ..

STAY THE COURSE

if you are not with us then you must be ......

how sad....

and to think ..

that after country jacking an election the first time around .. they were elected a second time..... for more of the same ....
how can we blame them .. after all we gave them the green light for their failed and destructive policies .....

AND IF WE HAD DONE A SUCCESSFUL JOB ... SURELY THEN .. IT WOULD NOT HAVE MATTERED AS MUCH HOW MUCH $$$$ it had cost .....

and is COSTING .. every single day ........

are the lives of the troops and the iraqis not more important ??????????????????????????????
???????????????????????????????????????
???????????????????????????????????????????????

..

Way too much. BTW ! Iraq was not involved in 9/11 no matter how many times Bush mentiones 9/11 and Iraq. My question is why have we not invaded Saudi Arabia (a country that has funded and aided Al Queda).

Unknown amount of trillions. There are 10s of thousands of soldiers that will require the government to pay for their medical care for the rest of their lives. Combined with the direction cost of the war, it is possible to see upwards of 5 trillion in costs due to this war by the time the current generation of soldiers die off.

A hell of a lot less than we have paid to keep unemployed innercity baby-factories in Poptarts let me tell ya.

AVHAC: That figure you list is 12trillion, in total we have spent about 430billion, so I'm confused how Virginia has contributed that much is the dollar of less value in Virginia?

I couldn't tell you but it's amazing that it might not be farfetched to say that we could (probably easily) handle paying for illegal immigrants if we weren't at war--Americans choose to support killing in the middle east instead of helping poor people make enough money to feed their wife and kids.....yikes. To the cons who love to pay less taxes...We could KEEP the money!
