It's kinda like a phobia except that it's something you don't fear...just something you want to avoid because you don't like the way it makes you feel. Like someone could just not like being in closed spaces(claustrophobia) but not so much that they call it a phobia. make any sense? Is there a better word for it?

I would just say thats its a fear. Im not sure if theres a better word for it then that

I'm not sure if there is an official word for it but I get the idea. This could be a simple dislike or fear, but phobias are paralyzing to a person.

People with claustrophobia will not ride buses or trains, because when the attack strikes, they may not be in a place where they can exit from the bus or train safely.

I think you're looking for "aversion," which means a strong feeling of dislike.

You can have an "aversion" to something rather than a fear of it.
