My cousin's mom, who is a Wicka or something, idk, told me about it. She kinda weirded me out, but she gave it to me on a sheet of notebook paper, and it says to chant it over and over.

I was talking to my cousin Chris about how bad everything has been i.e. breaking my leg, failing my test, being really sick *snuffle*, and all that stuff, and she must have overheard or something.

She was sort of weird, but she was really cool.
I was staying over at their house, and she was really nice and let us watch TV all night.

Is this a safe chant, or is it, like, bad or something. Is she trying to be mean? (I know I sound horrible accusing her, but hey, what do I really know?)

Chanting words will do nothing outside of your sphere of influence. At most it will influence your frame of mind or perhaps give you some sort of placebo effect, but you aren't going to alter the fabric of the universe or prevent an apple from falling on your head.

Wiccans are new age religion, much like Scientology, {tom cruise, John Trovolta are scientologist) or others. Yes witchcraft has been around for centuries, however the Wiccans identify them self as a new and modern version. Thats why I catogorize them as new age. Yes I have know some wiccans and they were all a different type of personality. I dont personally believe they have any power, but to each his own. Some things are safer not dabbled with. You should always be very cautious with things you are unfamiliar with as far as religion goes. If you are looking for something to plug into visit other religious establishments and find which one feels real to your innerself and fits in with your belief system. Dont just go with what others say is great. Whatever you do get more information before venturing into religion.

No Shelly, there's nothing wrong with it. And if she follows wicka then she's almost certainly not mean.

The question about whether the chant will work is really up to you. The chant is a focus for energy. It works like a prayer, and like a prayer you need to believe in it in order to get the most out of it. Because she believes in that meditation she could use it to bring you positive energy but most of us wouldn't do it without your express permission.

You've had your eyes opened to an interesting path, what you choose to do with it is completely up to you. Rest assured there is nothing 'bad' or 'evil' involved.

Blessings,
Zimmi

Meh, don't listen to people telling you it's the work of the devil. We pagans don't subscribe to an Abrahamic tradition therefore we don't believe in the Christian Satan. People who say things like this are afraid because we're different but still positively powerful.

It sounds pretty harmless to me. Some people who may be much more religious (particular religions who view the occult as evil) may have a very different opinion, but it seems to be just focusing on nature and the universe. If it makes you feel positive and in turn brings you positivity in your life, what's the harm in trying?

Yes it's totally safe. What will work though is that if you decide to do this chant is to believe it will work. To know it will work.

Doing that is nonsense but it is very dangerous because it is the attempt to commit the sin of witchcraft. If you do it enough, sooner or later you will become full of demons that will torment and destroy you for being disobedient to GOD.

Read the Bible and pray to GOD for guidence.
