How long does it take to sync the Wii Remote to the Console?
If you unplug the console that is already in sync with a remote, does it lose connection with the remote?

Normally the remote will automatically sync to the console. And Yes if you unplug the console that is already in sinc with a remote it iwll lose the connection. However the next time you turn on your console the remote will again automatically sync with it. I was having problems syncing a friends remote to my console because it was taking forever and not working. This is what you do if you are having problems getting your remote to sync. When you get to the black screen with white letters warning you about reading the safety precautions handbook don't press A like the screen tells you. Instead open the wii console panel and press the sync button. Then press the sync button on the remote you are trying to sync up. This will force a connection to the remote. You should have no problems with your connection between your remote and console after that.

i think when you unplug the console, it;ll lose connection (console wont recieve signal from remote w/o power)

usually it only takes a few seconds for the 1st remote to sync, if not instantaneously.

It should automatically sync with the console in less than a minute. I have shut my power to console a few time and it doesn't take long for your remote to be in sync with the console. :)

It depends if you are looking for a permenant or a temporary sync. Normally a temporary sync will only take a couple seconds, but the permenant sync will take a little longer.

You don't push the power button on the remote unless you want to turn off the console. I used to make that mistake too. :) Hmm...about the syncing, it should work. Refer to the Wii instruction manual to sync the remote.
