Too many questions in that diatribe. So here.. Yes.. Not finished... do not care what u think... no..
Now can you back up your lengthy rant with some facts. You see we all need to ask for facts when people decide to shot gun scatter their opinions. People like Jesse MacBeth who lied about being a soldier and lied of murders he was ordered to commit in Iraq when he could not make it 6 weeks in basic training is a prime example. The left loved him; gave him a forum to lie and when people dug into the facts he was found to be a fraud and now sits in jail. The left ran and hid... to chew on some cheese and wait to find more idiots who are willing to take a stance with no facts!

I disagree on some of your impressions as the reason for the war. Perhaps that is why you disagree with it.
The war is not about oil. If we wanted the oil, we could just plain take it, couldnt we? Answer that question HONESTLY. Who could stop us if we simply decided that we wanted to go in and TAKE the oil?
The war is not even about Iraq. Though it would be NICE to have a democratic country in the depths of the middle east upon which we could rely (other than Israel), and all the pictures of the people with their fingers dipped in purple ink, and the stories from Iraqi Kurdistan (which is functioning REMARKABLY WELL) are very encouraging, this war simply is NOT ABOUT THEM.
This is important now, so please pay attention:
THIS WAS IS ABOUT AMERICAN NATIONAL SECURITY!
Shame on Bush for not saying this every day, and even more often. Couched in the phrases "if we dont fight them there, we will have to fight them here" are the nuts and bolts of the matter. These F**kers want us DEAD! They want our way of Life DEAD! They want our concept of Freedom DEAD! And they will do everything that they can concieve of in their dirt clogged brains to make that happen!
It SUCKS that over 3000 of our brave men and women (that have ALL VOLUNTEERED to go protect those of us that have not done so) have died. That is STILL LESS than the number of people that died in ONE DAY, September 11, 2001, in New York City, USA. When was the last time we all saw the video of the towers burning, and then falling. In my opinion, that video should be replayed, over and over, every day. We Must NEVER FORGET WHAT THEY DID TO US, and what they would do to us AGAIN if given the chance!
Yes, Iraq is not pretty. But is it mere coincidence that we have not been hit here since Sept 11, 2001? I think not! The car bombers are too busy OVER THERE, well engaged by America's strongest, and THEY ARE LOSING! Maybe not as quickly as we would like them to, but they are losing! The people of Iraq are even starting to believe in us now, and are pointing them out so we can root them out of their caves like the RATS that they are, and squash them. Cut off their money, cut off their supplies, cut off their reinforcements, cut off their will, and for the most part they will die. Will we EVER be totally RID of these hate filled self loathing murderers? Honestly, no, we will not. So, as part of being the civilized force in the world today, we will HAVE to stay viligant, continue to pursue and destroy them!
More of our troops will come home once the Iraqi army can stand up to these murderers. But remember, we STILL have troops in Japan; We still have troops in Germany--no one seems to mind that as much as these nations that we liberated 50 years ago are now our friends. I think that once we stabilize Iraq, we will be able to say the same thing about that country as well...
And I would much rather have our troops--who are well trained, and ready to fight the enemy--take on al qaeda overseas, as opposed to civillian police and firefighters take on the aftermath of another al qaeda attack on American Soil--ever again...
As a sidebar, I DO TOTALLY agree with you on the ABSOLUTE need for us to once and for all, SECURE OUR BORDERS. A step that President Bush has not been anywhere near as enthusiastic about as I would wish...

Iraq is not ready to stand on its two feet. If we leave, the nation will fall to terrorist. And with a nation ruled by terrorist would not be good at all. (Duh). Also, being stationed in Iraq we are able to keep a better eye on Iran, and if Iran does anything stupid, we are right there. There are most likely many more reasons, but the media will never show it, and we do not have the CIA, etc, at our disposal to see what is really going on.

Thanks for your opinion in a question section.
We are fighting in Iraq because if we leave, Iran, Syria, and terrorists take over. They then have a lot of control over oil and the middle east.
We solve the problem with illegals by enforcing our laws.

Bush is the puppet for Cheney, Rummy, Rice, the neocon hawks, the Zionists and the military industrial complex....so far theyve gotten away with over $500 billion from US taxpayers since they went into Iraq.
Condi was high up in Exxon and even got a oil tanker named after her, Exxon is among the top 5 corporations on the fortune 500 list.

The Iraqi government isn't yet ready to defend themselves against Al Qaeda and other radical Jihadists.
