Its is possible to keep your programs running. But you dont need three security programs. Each one of those programs fill your registry with duplicate keys. So, you probably have quite of bit of unnecessary information in your registry. This situation will eat up a lot of your PC speed. So you should scan you registry immediately. If you pickup more than 30 or so errors and duplicate files. Thats the cause of your slow computer. Here is a few more tips to speed up your computer.
1. Clear your Windows cache files, this your temporary file. It can grow up to a large volume and stop your computer from using RAM properly. In a sense slow it down by preventing it from using free space.
2. Manage your startups. Your excess CPU usage is due to too many programs running in the background. You can cut these to barebones by alter your msconfig. The site below shows which programs are not essential. Here is how:
1. Open your Start menu.
2. Click Run
3. In the command screen type "msconfig.exe"
4. In the "system configuration utility",
click either "service" or "startup" tab
5. Uncheck all programs that your are no longer using.
6. Click "OK"
Other great tip is increasing your virtual memory to simulate more RAM. This will give you a bit more resources for multiple program use or CPU heavy programs. Check the link to alter your virtual memory spec.
Hope this link helps. Shows you how to do everything step by step. You should get a least 40% more resources and speed
if you follow the tips.

Update your firewall and spyware (I prefer using Norton 2007, which will blocks all type of virus and worms.
), and then you should scan your computer in safe mode.
after you remove the virus, I recommend you to use firefox browser. It's safer than IE.
It can prevent viruses such as worm, trojan etc. Firefox browser can be downloaded from http://www.mollzia.com

Do you have any good Anti spyware programs? I recommend using Spyware Doctor. On the other hand, you could just switch to a Mac and not worry about most viruses.
