Depends on what you die from, or how you die.
Like with Alzheimer's Disease- it can be a very slow, long, drawn out, unpleasant death that you might trade for any of the most difficult moments that you have ever gone through in your life. Even though those moments were hard you got through them, there is no getting through Alzheimer's.
Also, death is so final. With life we get another day, another chance.
