I've never been to Zimbabwe, but I'm pretty sure it's there. I have yet to see the wind, but I have seen it's effects. Science cannot see black holes in space, but they know they are there because of their effects on those things around them.
In short, to think that just because one has not experienced something that it does not exist, is rather egocentric and short sighted.
