That the people who post their pics for us to rate are usually always good looking. We never get any ugly people asking. Do these people just have low self eseem or what?

I think it's low self esteem. I also think sometimes that it's not really their picture. They're trying to pass themselves off as someone else.

Regardless of what they look like, I really think it's sad that so many young girls put their photos on the net for strangers to comment on. It's wrong and I hate the image-obsessesed world we now live in. I'm pretty (I know that now at 24) but when I was young I suffered fron really low self esteem...our culture idolises flawless beauty (which DOESN'T EXIST) and I was never happy because I wasn't 'perfect'. I just want to tell all the girls to take care of themselves and have self-respect ALWAYS. People will put you down because they are jealous and want to build their own self esteem at your expense. Just try and be strong and put your head up high. DON'T ask strangers to comment on your beauty.....they don't know you and they don't deserve the right to judge you : )

No, they just want compliments.
I have to admit that I've fallen for it before -- like, ten minutes ago, I was telling a girl that of course she's pretty, shes got lovely eyes, etc. etc. I mean, yeah, it's unneccessary, but it's nice to find the good things about people.
But yeah, no, I don't think they have low self-esteem, they just want people to like relish in their attractiveness.
