If you meant (3/4)xb - ..., then the answer is:

[(15 - 8 - 10)b] / 20 = -3b/20

If you meant 3/(4b) - ..., then the answer is:

(15 - 8 - 10) / (20b) = -3/(20b)

you have to find a common denominator which is 20, so: 3/4b=15/20b, 2/5b=8/20b, and 1/2b=10/20b

and 15-8-10= -3,
sooooo -3/20 is the answer if im not mistaken

Factor out a b
b(3/4-2/5-1/2)
Then get a common denominator--in this case, the smallest number that 4, 5, and 2 all go into is 20
So you have to figure out what to multiply the top and bottom of the fractions by to get a 20 in the denominator. For 3/4, you have to multiply that fraction by 5/5. For 2/5, multiply by 4/4. For 1/2, multiply by 10/10.
b(15/20-8/20-10/20)
Now you can act on the numerators, subtracting 15-8-10
b(-3/20)
So your answer is -3b/20
